Asmatek Industries’ Chevron Conveyor Belts are designed for inclined material-handling applications where conventional flat conveyor belts may experience material slipping or rollback.
The belt features rubber chevrons integrally moulded with the top cover, creating a profiled carrying surface that helps retain material during inclined conveying. The cleats are manufactured using abrasion-resistant rubber compounds and are available in different heights and widths according to application requirements.
A range of Chevron patterns and designs can be selected depending on the conveyed material, conveyor inclination and required capacity. The spacing between the cleats is designed to support smooth belt movement over return idlers, allowing Chevron belts to be incorporated into suitable conventional conveyor arrangements without requiring modifications to the return-idler system.
Chevron belts can be supplied with different cover grades, including M24 abrasion-resistant, heat-resistant (HR), oil-resistant (OR), fire-resistant (FR) and white hygienic configurations, subject to application requirements.
