Asmatek Industries’ Oil Resistant Conveyor Belts are designed for material-handling applications where conventional conveyor belts may be exposed to oil, fuel or oil-treated materials.
The belt construction uses an EP polyester-nylon carcass, offering high tensile strength, good adhesion, low stretch and resistance to ripping and tearing. The covering layer uses NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber), selected for applications where resistance to oil and oily materials is required.
These belts are suitable for conveying machine oil-coated components, heavy-oil-treated coal, soybean draff, fish meat and other oily materials, as well as materials containing non-polar organic solvents and fuel.
The product range can include conventional OR Grade belts as well as High Abrasion Resistant Oil Resistant (HAR-OR) configurations. For specialized applications, belt selection should consider the type of oil or solvent, material characteristics, temperature, abrasion level and conveyor operating conditions.
